The Platform Explorer API gives developers programmatic access to curated content feeds, collections, and user preferences. Build integrations, automate workflows, or power your own interfaces.
Endpoints
/v1/feed
Retrieve your personalized content feed. Returns an array of curated content items sorted by engagement score.
/v1/content/:id
Fetch a single content item by its unique identifier, including full metadata and engagement metrics.
/v1/collections
List all collections belonging to the authenticated user.
/v1/collections
Create a new collection. Accepts a name and optional description in the request body.
/v1/collections/:id
Update a collection's name, description, or list of saved post IDs.
/v1/collections/:id
Permanently delete a collection and all its saved references.
/v1/preferences
Retrieve the authenticated user's platform and interest preferences.
/v1/preferences
Replace the authenticated user's preferences with a new configuration.
Authentication
All API requests require a valid API key passed in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY You can generate an API key from your account settings. Keys are scoped to your account and carry full read/write permissions. Treat them like passwords — never expose them in client-side code.
Rate Limits
The API enforces the following rate limits per API key: • 60 requests per minute on read endpoints (GET). • 20 requests per minute on write endpoints (POST, PATCH, DELETE). Exceeded limits return HTTP 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header indicating when you may resume. We recommend implementing exponential backoff in your client.
Response Format
All responses are JSON. Successful responses return HTTP 2xx with a data field. Errors return a non-2xx status with an error object: { "error": { "code": "not_found", "message": "Content item not found." } } Common error codes: unauthorized, forbidden, not_found, validation_error, rate_limited, server_error.
SDKs & Libraries
Official SDKs are currently in development for JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. In the meantime, the REST API is fully usable with any HTTP client. Community-maintained libraries may be available — check our GitHub organization for the latest.
