Accessibility Statement

Platform Explorer believes that the internet should be accessible to everyone. This statement describes our current accessibility efforts, known limitations, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier.
1. Our Commitment
Platform Explorer is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide an inclusive experience.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for all people. We are currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are actively working to address these gaps.
3. Measures We Take
Platform Explorer takes the following measures to ensure accessibility: • Semantic HTML: we use proper heading hierarchies, landmark regions, and meaningful HTML elements throughout the application. • Keyboard navigation: all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse. • Focus management: visible focus indicators are present on all interactive components so keyboard users can track their position on the page. • Color contrast: text and UI elements meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds. • Screen reader support: we test our interface with common screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and provide appropriate ARIA labels where native semantics are insufficient. • Responsive design: content reflows gracefully at all viewport sizes and zoom levels up to 400% without horizontal scrolling. • Reduced motion: we respect the "prefers-reduced-motion" media query to limit animations for users who are sensitive to motion.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the application may not yet fully meet accessibility standards: • Dynamic feed content: AI-generated content cards are updated in real time; live region announcements may not reach all screen reader configurations consistently. • Third-party embeds: some external platform links and embedded media may not meet our accessibility standards, as we do not control that content. • Complex data visualizations: charts and infographics on the landing page include text alternatives, but may not convey all data nuances to assistive technology users. We are actively working to resolve these issues. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know.
5. Assistive Technologies Supported
Platform Explorer is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android). • Magnification software: ZoomText, browser zoom up to 400%. • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS / iOS). • Switch access: keyboard-only navigation is fully supported.

In the European Union, you may escalate to the relevant national enforcement body under the European Accessibility Act.
8. Updates to This Statement
This Accessibility Statement was last reviewed in August 2035. We review and update this statement at least annually, or whenever significant changes are made to the application.
